My name is Chantal Rolande Kathleen Plourde ~ but you can call me Tal Rolande.
I’m a Toronto-based writer, editor and marketing specialist covering art, music, psychoactives — and the intersections between.
I was born in Scarborough and spent the first part of my life on Lake Simcoe before moving to Ottawa to earn my BA at Carleton University. Now, I’m back in Toronto studying Digital Analytics at George Brown College.
Currently, I’m a writer at The Home Depot and have held positions at HomeStars, The Home Depot Canada and Shared over the last 7 years. My freelance work has been featured on the OCS, Saskatchewan and BC Cannabis stores for Gage Cannabis and Spectrum Therapeutics for Radicle Medical Marijuana Inc.
I live on the top floor of a century-old house — a special place I’ve designed around my lifestyle. My intention here is to share facets of my life, my work and all the things that light my fire. Thank you for joining me here, can’t wait to connect with you and inspire.
